- Romeo Peach Festival (August 30–September 2, 2024): Located in Romeo, the Romeo Peach Festival is a long-standing tradition. Started in 1931, the festival celebrates 93 years this Labor Day weekend. There are a variety of activities to enjoy with your family. Stop and visit, the Peachy Keen Craft Show, Westview Orchard Market and Peachy Tent, and Thumb Area Artists’ Exhibition. There are also other activities. These include a car show, a parade, Juliet Chocolate Factory Peachy Palooza, and Mid American Carnival Rides. Or attend any of the concert series and live music. There are lots of peach-themed treats at this charming small-town festival.
- Manton Area Harvest Festival (August 30–September 2, 2024): Most events are located at Manton Station on Wall Street. The festival is a great choice for families. The Manton Area Festival offers kids’ games, carnival rides, petting zoo, a parade, craft shows, and more. There is also a fireworks show on September 2 over Lake Billings.
- Uncle John’s Cider Mill – Sunflower Fest (August 31 & September 1, 2024): Located north of St. Johns, Uncle John’s Cider Mill has something for everyone. The weekend events include kids’ activities like Gem Mining and the huge Jumping Pillow. Chucky D’s Food Truck will be on site. There is also live music and U-Pick Sunflowers. Visit the farm trail, gift shop, cider mill, and bakery. On Sunday, September 1, 2024, the mill will host a Cruise In Car Show. Uncle John’s is a perfect spot to enjoy your end of summer celebrations. Sip on some delicious cider and enjoy the fun activities for all ages.
- Arts Dockside (August 31 & September 1, 2024): If you are heading north this weekend stop at the Arts Dockside. Located along the Huron Boardwalk in St. Ignace, this arts and crafts fair is a delightful way to spend the weekend. There is over 100 exhibits and plenty of food and music.
