The Christmas tree was in our hotel lobby in Chicago. I loved the big gold ornaments.
I had originally went to Chicago to visit the Christkindlmarket. I didn’t get the hype. The place was crowded. I thought the shops were lacking in many ways. Perhaps one of these days, I will have to travel to Germany to visit the markets over there.
Even though, I didn’t enjoy the market. I did get a chance to walk around and look at old buildings. There is always something to photograph at Christmas time.
What is your opinion of the Christkindlmarket in Chicago? Do I need to give the event another chance?
