Bridge View Park-St. Ignace, Michigan

I am a huge fan of day trips. Pack a picnic and go. On my recent adventure, we stopped at the Bridge View Park in St. Ignace, Michigan. The Bridge View Park is the perfect location to look over the Straits of Mackinac, where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron come together. The view is breath taking.

Highlights

For history buffs, visit the observation building. There are displays about the area’s history and the engineering marvel of the Mackinac Bridge. Yesterday, when we stopped the television was also playing a history of the Mackinac Bridge which has connected the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan since its completion in 1957.

Other history markers are located on the park grounds.
